About Dental Veneers
Veneers are essentially covers that fit over the outside of your teeth. These shells are customized to fit on your teeth, and you can even pick the color of them. They correct chips, stains, wear and tear, misalignments, and uneven spaces between your teeth. Our dentists craft veneers from composite resin or porcelain. Both varieties have benefits and drawbacks. For instance, composite resin tends to require our dentist to remove less of your natural teeth to place them. However, they don’t usually last as long. On the other hand, porcelain veneers last longer and don’t stain easily. For these reasons and more, porcelain veneers usually cost more. During your initial visit, our dentist discusses all the pros and cons and helps you decide on the ideal type of veneers for your needs.
What To Expect When Getting Dental Veneers
The veneer process with us consists of first determining the type of veneers that best suit you, the number needed, and all the other specifics of the treatment. You’ll also receive an X-ray so that our dentists can properly plan your dental treatment. When preparing for dental veneers, the dentist will remove a thin layer of your tooth. This roughs up the surface of each tooth, so the dentist can affix the dental veneers. Our dentist will also need to make an impression of your teeth to send to the laboratory. After your veneers return from the lab, a special dental adhesive will be placed on the front of your teeth. Next, our dentists positions the veneers and uses a UV light to speed up the drying process.
Will Veneers Straighten My Teeth?
Porcelain veneers are a great way to straighten your teeth without braces because they provide many cosmetic benefits, as well as being very durable. In some cases, people may choose dental bonding instead of porcelain veneers for minor misalignment correction- though this is just one option among many!

Starting with the first time I called asking if they were accepting new patients & then coming in & speaking to the front desk ladies (they’re all very kind, sweet & helpful). The dental assistants, hygienists & my dentist (Dr.Tran- lady) are so informative & never mind answering my questions or explaining the dental work they’re doing for me before they start on me for the day. The office also has a beautiful lobby with the most comfortable chairs & it really ties the office look all together.
